Tackling problems with the pet trade…
We tackle problematic parts of the exotic pet trade with a new approach. Through education and first-hand experience, we encourage our guests to view animals with double vision. Admiring their cute and adorable personalities meanwhile appreciating that a lot of our animals are WILD! Meaning that they don’t make good pets.

WHAT WE DO
Educate
Animals are adorable and they get people to listen! We provide education to schools, children and adults too! We educate people about the various species of animals we look after, problematic parts of the pet trade and importantly how to protect their native cousins, conservation!
Conserving wildlife
Conservation begins at home and that’s why we work with local wildlife groups to help protect the wildlife around us. With that being said, we also make an extreme effort to help protect our resident’s native cousins. We work with international conservation projects to educate, fundraise and most importantly, protect!
Providing sanctuary
We provide facilities for exotic animals who have found themselves in unfortunate situations. Ex-pets, surplus zoo animals and seized animals. Providing sanctuary and a forever home for as many animals as possible. We can’t provide every animal a home as we are a small facility, so sometimes we are a halfway home and other times we simply point people in the right direction. Whatever the situation, animal welfare is so important to us and we will always do our best to help.
